PSK is an independent, local non-government organization that was registered with the Cambodian Ministry of Interior. PSK’s mission is to improve the health of low-income and vulnerable Cambodians through social marketing in collaboration with the Royal Government of Cambodia. PSK will have an organic and sustained connection with PSI and will benefit from the global network to promote life-saving products, services and communications to help Cambodians lead healthier lives. We are seeking highly-motivated, customer-oriented, results-focused, and change-driven talents for the following position: Medical Detailing Officer (Medical Representative): Cambodian national only, 1 full-time position. Job Summary: The Medical Detailing Officer will advance PSK social marketing activities for Child Survival and Birth Spacing included long term methods and other health areas which PSK interventions by building mutually beneficial relationships with Sun Quality Health Network (SQHN) providers and non-network private sector providers through regular and consistent visits to identify and address provider needs in delivering quality health services; and utilizing behavior change communications techniques to motivate Sun Quality Health Network providers and non-network private sector providers to adopt desired behaviors, such as improved client counseling for identified health areas and products, improved offering of diarrhea and pneumonida case management, informed choice of birth spacing methods, improve provider knowledge of products and services, and motivate providers to perform to optimal productivity

Duties + Requirements

Medical Detailing Officer (Medical Representative) Requirements Pharmacist, Medical Doctor, Medical Assistant, or secondary midwife At least 2 years experience in medical representative or behavior change communications and coaching Experience in supervising and providing reproductive and child health particularly birth spacing, diarrhea and pneumonia in children <5 years is preferable. Medical Detailing/BBC skills and strong organizational skills Excellent rapport building skills, strong commitment and willing to travel to provinces (over 90%) MS office and email Good in English writing and speaking is a plus Can drive 4’s wheels vehicle with valid driving license
