Description
Wathnakpheap (WP) is a local Cambodian NGO which was localised from International NGO, SKIP (Pestalozzi Children Village’s Foundation) and was registered with the Government since 1997. WP has long-time significant experiences in community development; particularly in the areas of rural development; community-based child development; trafficking prevention; repatriation and rehabilitation; formal and non-formal education; vocational training; small enterprise development; and good governance.

Now we are seeking 1 qualitative person to fulfil the position Community Facilitator of Early Childhood Concept Development (ECCD) Project (Salary $300-$350 exclude other benefits) base in Kratie Province.

Duties + Requirements
Community Facilitator

Duties
  • Ensure that the programme is implemented in understanding with local authorities, in line with the policy guidelines of the organisation with Cambodian law and regulations.
  • Being responsible for all communication and liaison with partners such as community level and to provide support to them as and when necessary.
  • Coordinate and Collaborate with Department of Education
  • Coaching local authorities and core mother
  • Work close with CWCC and core mother to awareness ECCD program
  • Provide the periodic report to Project Manager in Phnom Penh
Requirements
  • Bachelor degree and at least 2 years relevant experience relate to Education.
  • Proven leadership in the management of development projects and courage to truly advocate for the poorest families and disabilities people.
  • Good knowledge on early childhood development concept.
  • Strong commitment to work in the communities.
  • Knowledge on report writing, case study
  • Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills; good in spoken and written Khmer and English; computer literacy (MS Word, Excel and Email).
