Description
	Water for Cambodia (WFC) is a non-governmental local organization registered with the Ministry of Interior and has been working in Cambodia since 2006. The organization obtains its funding from the international community, private sector, individual people and charity organizations. Its main donors and supporters are the Rotary Clubs from Rhode Island in the United States. Through funding from these different entities, WFC is able to implement its clean water projects and literacy program in Siem Reap Province. WFC is looking for self-motivated individual to fill the position of a Water Testing Lab Technician based in Siem Reap. The responsibilities of this position form an integral part of our project and these include bacteria media preparation, water quality analysis and reporting, data entry and analysis, maintaining and managing  lab chemical supply inventory, managing commercial services for clients, and support for short term research studies by both local and international students.

Duties + Requirements

Lab Technician Requirements B.S. or BA Degree in either Chemical or Food Engineering, Environmental Sciencesor Technical Diplomain other related fields with laboratory experience. Individuals applying for this position must be fluent in Khmer language both spoken and written, English speaking and writing. This is a requirement for client and donor relations and reporting purposes. They should have at least 1 years’ experience working in a laboratory on water or food testing and must possess adequate knowledge about hygiene and standard lab practices. Applicants must demonstrate a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
