	World Vision is an international Christian Humanitarian and Development Organization working with the poor and oppressed to promote human transformation and seek justice. Our Cambodia Office is seeking one (01) national candidate to fill the position of: Position: Communications Coordinator for Creative Youth Salary & Benefit Package: $392 - $490 USD per month dependent on your experience and qualifications THE PURPOSE OF THE POSITION Creative Youth Coordinator will support technical aspects of the rollout and implementation of an engaging Creative Youth Project, and provide on-going creative and technical support to the Operations, ADP staff, and Youth Volunteers, implementing the initiative. The Creative Youth Project works at the grassroots level, in Youth Clubs across Cambodia, to foster a space where creativity is encouraged and valued, and youth can bridge the digital divide that exists between them and the rest of the urban and middle class Cambodian and global youth. Youth are growing up in a digital world that will increasingly be connected in the global economy. The Creative Youth Project better prepares disadvantaged youth in rural and urban settings for a society and economy that is rapidly becoming reliant on technology and creativity in everyday life and work. The Creative Youth Project brings thousands of youth across Cambodia together to explore their creativity and their digital world. With access to a laptop, tablet, bloggie-cam, DSLR and Internet, youth are empowered to amplify their voices for change in new and creative ways for the benefit of their own communities. Their confidence, identity, and hope for the future is strengthened as they explore and grow in a self-learning environment with their peers.

Duties + Requirements

Communications Coordinator for Creative Youth Duties Learning resources are available in Khmer Language Communications for Development (C4D) content is gathered from Youth Clubs and shared for internal and external communications channels The senior Creative Youth Officer receives support in the rollout and implementation of the Creative Youth Project Creative Youth Project receives ongoing technical support The senior Creative Youth Officer receives support in the regular update of information and lessons learned The 2nd Creative Youth Course “Youth Journalism” is developed and piloted/tested successfully Requirements Bachelor degree in Communication, IT, Education or related field Practical grasp of the digital sector and technologies and methods At least 2 years experience in Communication, IT, Education, or related field Experience with video, production photography, creative communications and IT systems Understanding of child and youth friendly learning environments Understanding of Child-focused development Fully able to embrace organizational values and possess a high level of commitment towards the mission of World Vision.
