JOB TITLE: Manager – Operations Excellence
REPORTING TO: Head of New Business & Underwriting
DEPARTMENT: New Business and Underwriting/Operations & IT

Job Mandate:
The Operational Excellence Manager is responsible for verifying that work is consistently and effectively performed and create deliverables according to established core procedures, processes, and methodologies. The OE Manager will report directly to the Head of New Business and Underwriting, and will have the opportunity to work in any, and all, aspects of the business.

Duties
  • Main Tasks & Job Responsibilities
    • Responsible for managing processes re-design and re-engineering coordinating the efficiency within NBUW and Operations team as whole.
    • Manage major projects to drive improvement in process metrics, targeted financial benefits, and achieve company gorals. Provides project leadership and mentor Operations Excellence team members.
    • Standardize process document across Operations team, and making sure synonym and wording in documents are consistently and understandable.
    • Collect and provide performance measures, develop reports and analyze findings to identify areas for process improvement.
    • Provide expert guidance to direct planning, control, mentoring and reporting of significant project and program events
    • Define Process Improvement Programs and Measurement & Performance Programs to monitor and take corrective actions around budget, schedule, scope and quality
    • Train people on Lean Organization and drive implementation of lean business processes in all operations together with Head – NBUW and Chief Operations Officer (COO)
    • Drive and regularly follow-up customer issues resolution. Get personally involved in resolving customer issues which might require also visiting customers.
    • Performing other tasks assigned by Head - NBUW and Chief Operations Officer (COO)
  • Key Accountabilities
    • Direct report to Head of NBUW,
      • Possess proven project management and organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to work autonomously and lead large scale projects conducted in complex organization matrices
      • Provide accurate and useful project status reports
      • Standard Operating Processes (SOP) of each sections within Operations & IT are proper filled and up-to-date.
    • Mainly responsibility on quality and turnaround time(TAT) of project and program events
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in process improvement and/or process redesign or equivalent experience. 3 years working in a highly effective management role.
  • Displays sound business acumen and integrated thinking.
  • Structured and analytical way of thinking.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, communication and presentation skills.
  • Expert influencing skills, with a strong ability to build consensus among multiple levels and functions within the organization.
  • Strong customer focus
  • Strong operations experience managing projects and service delivery against targeted Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
